Its been a few days since my last post, so I thought I would share some info on one of the projects that I am currently working on.
Over the past few days I have been watching a show called Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle. In short, its a show revolving around different puzzles and unlocking the power of the human brain. I found the show to be very entertaining, and I also found the different puzzles they played to be fascinating.
Some of these puzzles that were displayed are not very possible to make, but I came across one (S2.E4) called Lighting Position, which is a very down to earth, fun looking game. I did a quick Google search and I was not able to find real version made (I didn’t look to hard). So I thought this would make for a nice side project.
So, at this very moment, I am coding up a kind of demo of this game in C++. After I am able to get the demo to work correctly, I plan on making a hardware version. Though, you might ask yourself, why did I use the word hardware and why didn’t I just make a physical version of the game first, before I tried making a digital version? Well, the game is a lot more fun this way, and its also closer to how the game played in the show.
Once I get the beta game working, I’ll make a post and explain what the rules are and what the game is. I’ll also need to think of a name for this puzzle, but all in good time.
